2009-2010 Indoor Soccer Registration

TEAM REGISTRATION FOR THE SECOND INDOOR SESSION IS CLOSED!  


Jackson Fury will be registering players for the Spring Outdoor soccer season in late January!   Please visit our web site at that time for registration details.  If you just missed the second indoor session registration and would like to start training now, please contact Tom Strock with the player's birth date to see if it is possible to participate in training and footskills with your age group.  This is a great introduction to the club for new players!

 

The registration deadline is tentatively set for January 3, 2010 and is subject to change.  The SportDome has recently advised due to record team registrations that it will only be able to accommodate a few additional teams for the 2nd session.  As a result, Jackson Fury may need to close team rosters early.  Parents should register their daughter early to secure a roster spot!

Jackson Fury is now accepting registrations for the second indoor soccer session which will start January 18 and run through April 3, 2010.  Practices and games will be coached by the club's professional coaching staff with an emphasis on player development.  Indoor soccer is a much faster paced game that helps players improve their individual skills and learn small-sided game tactics.  Throughout the year, players consistently make more developmental progress during the indoor season than at any other time......DON'T MISS OUT!

NEW PLAYERS ARE WELCOME!  Elementary school, grades 2 to 5, age group players may simply register regardless of prior playing experience.  Basic and advanced soccer skills will be coached.  New middle school age group players are encouraged to give the club a try by attending a training session for their age group.  New middle school age group players normally have several years of recreational soccer experience and make the transition smoothly.  In the past, all players who completed the registration process prior to the deadline have been placed on teams but, occasionally, some new players drop-out.  If parents are uncertain, please contact Tom Strock to schedule an opportunity to give the club a try.

For 2009-2010, we will be training at the SportDome in Jackson Twp.   When the facility reopened in March 2008, we were happy to wrap up our 2007-2008 indoor season in our traditional home facility.  The facility enhancements are greatly welcomed.  The turf is the best in the area.  We look forward to returning this Indoor season again.  Training will include a weekly one hour practice, either Monday, Tuesday or Thursday, starting at 4:00, 5:00 or 6:00 PM.  Footskills will be every other week on Sunday evenings at the high school.

Games will be primarily played on Saturdays. Teams playing at the competitive and premier level are anticipated.  Premier teams will play in the CASA league with game locations typically in Lodi or Warrensville.  Competitive level teams will play at the SportDome in Jackson Twp.  All players will be assigned to a competitive level team and select players will also be placed on premier teams.  New players will be placed on competitive level teams.

Estimated player fees are approximately:
 - $ 200.00 for league, team, registration, and coach fees
 - $ 76.00 uniform (new players only)
 - $ 20.00 Jackson Fury Membership fees for 2010
Fee estimates are based on actual expenses for the 2008-2009 Indoor season and include typical tournament selections.  Final fees will be based on actual league fees, tournaments, and coaching expenses and are equally divided among all participants.  A $125.00 deposit is required with the player registration and the final fees, less deposits paid, will be invoiced in February.

  • Step 1 - Learn more about Jackson Fury Soccer Club, read our brochure:

  • Step 2 - ALL players must register by Jan 3, 2010.  Late registrations including a Late Fee will be accepted after Jan 3.   After Jan 3, registrations will only be accepted to fill open team roster spots.  Please contact Tom Strock with the player's birth date to check for roster openings prior to submitting a late registration.  You may also mail late registration paperwork and it will be returned if the team is full.  NOTE: Late fees apply to ALL registrations received after Jan 3.  Late fees must be paid with the registration deposit or the registration will NOT be accepted!

  • Step 3 - Player Preparation:  Elementary school, grades 2 to 5, age group players should simply register.  New middle school players are encouraged to tryout Jackson Fury by attending an outdoor practice with their age group.  This will afford players an opportunity to meet their future teammates, coaches, managers, and experience a typical training session.  In the past, all girls completing the registration process by the published deadline have been assigned to teams.  The club endeavors to place all players on age and skill appropriate teams to foster individual and team development goals.  Please contact Tom Strock with the player's birth date to schedule an appointment to attend a practice.

  • Step 5 - Returning players should give their form and deposit to their current team manager, mail it, or drop it off in the registration box at the following address.  New players should mail or drop off the registration form:

  • Step 6 - Team rosters will be announced and practice schedules will be posted about October 25, 2009.  Please stay in touch by visiting our web site, www.jacksonfury.com, often!

A late fee will be required for all registrations received after Jan 3, 2010 as follows: after Jan 3 until Jan 10, $10.00 late fee; after Jan 10, $25.00.  Late fees must be paid with the registration deposit or the registration will not be accepted!
