Congratulations to the Jackson Fury U18 girls who won the Avon Lake Father's Day Tournament on June 14-15. The Jackson Fury U18 team won preliminary round games against Team Metro (4-0), Erie FC (5-2), and Brookside Lady Cardinal (7-0). In the championship game, they played Erie FC and tied them 2-2 in regulation and the score remained tied 3-3 after two overtime periods. The Jackson Fury U18 team prevailed in the penalty kick phase and was awarded the championship trophy.
