U14 Premier Division Champions

The Jackson Fury U14 APSL team competed in the premier division of the Northern Ohio Cup Tournament, May 5-6, 2007.  During their preliminary games, they defeated the Erie Admirals (1-0) and the Cleveland Blues (4-2) on Saturday.  Sunday morning they needed a tie or win to advance and tied the Keystone Krush 1-1.  In their semifinal game, they faced Penns Forest, a premier team from the Pittsburgh area, and tied 1-1 in regulation.  During the penalty kick shootout, they advanced to the championship game with a 3-1 result , overall 4-2 score.  In the championship game, the Jackson Fury U14 girls played the club's first international match against Ajax from Ontario, Canada.  With a 2-1 victory, the U14 APSL team won the Northern Ohio Cup tournament premier division.
