U13 Bothwell Cup Champions

After completing their undefeated 10-0-0 season, the Jackson Fury U13 GAASA team received a late invitation to replace a team that had dropped out of the OYSAN Bothwell Cup.  In an early Saturday morning game with wet and cold conditions, the tournament started off poorly for the Fury U13 team with a loss against Wadsworth with a score of 1-2. In the Saturday afternoon game, they faced host Hudson but won easily with a score of 5-0. On Sunday morning, in a must win game against undefeated Westlake, the Fury U13 team won with a 1-0 score to advance to the cup championship game. In the championship, they faced Westlake again and the regulation game ended in a 1-1 tie. In the penalty kick shoot out, the Fury U13 girls prevailed to win the cup.
