The Jackson Fury U14 team defeated Emerald Black 2-1 and Excalibur 4-0 but lost to Toledo 0-2 in the preliminary rounds to earn a spot in the championship match. After completing the regulation time scoreless against the Whitecaps, Emily Winkhart scored on a long strike in sudden death overtime to win the game. Her goal was assisted by a flip throw from Emily Kenyon to Rachel Logan who passed it to Winky on the far side. Congratulations to the entire team for the club's first premier level tournament win!
