Spring 2010 Outdoor Soccer Registration

 

UPDATE Feb 18, 2010:  Most Spring Jackson Fury team rosters are at or near their roster limit but late registrations are being accepted to fill those remaining roster openings. Please contact Tom Strock with your daughter's name and birth date to check for roster openings.   If roster openings exist, they will only be filled upon receipt of the necessary registration paperwork and fees.  The necessary paperwork can be downloaded below.  NOTE:  Incomplete registrations can not be accepted and will be returned. We can not hold a roster spot until all paperwork is received.  Late registration fees apply according to the registration instructions and must be paid.  Please follow the instructions carefully.   Mail or drop off in the registration box on the front porch all required materials:

 Jackson Fury is now accepting registrations for the Spring 2010 Outdoor Soccer season which will start March 29 and continue through early June.  

NEW PLAYERS ARE WELCOME!  

Practices and games will be coached by the club's professional coaching staff with an emphasis on player development.  Two levels of play will be offered: GAASA Competitive and APSL Premier.  For the Spring 2010 season, ALL players will be assigned to a competitive level GAASA team.  The GAASA (Greater Akron Amateur Soccer Association) teams start at the U8 age group and compete against many of the community soccer clubs within 30 miles of Akron.  GAASA first and second division games are mostly on Sundays with a few weeknight games and GAASA lower division games are on Saturdays.  Select players and teams will also play in the APSL based on the Director of Coach's recommendation.  The APSL (Alliance Premier Soccer League) teams start at the U10 age group and compete against the best girl's teams in the greater Cleveland and Akron area.  APSL Games are typically on Saturdays in Lodi.

Estimated youth player fees are approximately:
 - $ 150.00 to $ 175.00 for league, team, registration, and coach fees for each assigned team
    (Note: New competitive players will only be assigned to one team for their first season.)
 - $ 78.00 uniform
 - $ 15.00 (prorated) Jackson Fury Membership fee for new 2010 players

Estimated high school player fees are approximately:
 - $ 125.00 to $ 140.00 for league, team, uniform t-shirt, registration, and coach fees
 - $ 15.00 Jackson Fury Membership fee

Fee estimates are based on actual expenses for the 2009 Fall Outdoor season and exclude tournament fees.  Final fees will be based on actual league fees, tournaments, and coaching expenses and are equally divided among all participants.  A $100.00 deposit is  required with the player registration and the final fees, less deposits paid, will be invoiced in April.

  • Step 1 - Learn more about Jackson Fury Soccer Club, read our brochure:

  • Step 2 - ALL youth players must register by Feb 6, 2010 and all High School players must register by Feb 28, 2010.  Late registrations including a Late Fee will be accepted after the registration deadline.   Late registrations will only be accepted to fill open team roster spots.  Please contact Tom Strock with the player's birth date to check for roster openings prior to submitting a late registration.  You may also mail late registration paperwork and it will be returned if the team is full.  NOTE: Late fees apply to ALL late registrations and must be paid with the registration deposit or the registration will NOT be accepted!

  • Step 3 - Player Preparation:  New youth players are encouraged to tryout Jackson Fury by attending an indoor practice for their age group.  This will afford players an opportunity to meet their future teammates, coaches, managers, and experience a typical training session.  In the past, all youth girls completing the registration process by the published deadline have been assigned to teams.  The club endeavors to place all players on age and skill appropriate teams to foster individual and team development goals.  Please contact Tom Strock with the player's birth date to schedule an appointment to attend a practice.  HS players simply need to register by their published deadline.

    NOTE: ALL PLAYERS PARTICIPATING WITH JACKSON FURY DURING THE CURRENT INDOOR II SOCCER SESSION WILL BE INVOICED FOR THE SPRING DEPOSIT WITH THEIR FINAL INDOOR II FEES.  NO ADDITIONAL PAPERWORK IS REQUIRED IF THE INDOOR II INVOICE IS PAID ON TIME!

  • Step 6 - Team rosters will be announced and practice schedules will be posted about March 21, 2010.  Please stay in touch by visiting our web site, www.jacksonfury.com, often!

    • A late fee will be required for all registrations received after Feb 6, 2010 as follows: after Feb 6 until Feb 28, $10.00 late fee; after Feb 28, $25.00.  Late fees must be paid with the registration deposit or the registration will not be accepted!

  • SPRING HIGH SCHOOL OUTDOOR SOCCER REGISTRATION  (Feb 28 Deadline)
    Registrations are now being accepted for the Spring outdoor season.  Jackson Fury will field girl's high school age group teams in the Greater Akron Amateur Soccer Association.  Please download the high school registration forms and return them before Feb 28.  Please note that the team rosters may fill up prior to the registration deadline.  REGISTER EARLY!
